Didn't have anyone to really share that bit of excitement with, have a photo that has the entire 2013 ALMS P1 class in it for your troubles.
After the Rolex 24, Brickyard Grand Prix, Grand Am and ALMS at Road America, and ALMS at VIR all last year, my 2014 sports car watching is going to be off to a good start.

There is always so much hate for Florida on this site, yet we are home to Sebring and Daytona among many other fantastic GP locations.

Plus St. Pete and Homestead. I actually had to make a choice between a gig in West Palm Beach or Raleigh-Durham. Didn't choose FL, but I don't mind visiting.

We were at a lot of the same races! That list is almost identical to my typical list. Also have my plans made for Sebring this year.

Add in the Indy 500 and about 9 other trips to IMS for practice days and that was my calendar last year. We'll have to work on the great Oppo Sebring meetup of 2014!

I went to the Indy 500 this year as well. And a few test days. I'm in for an oppo meet up!

I did the Rolex last year though, not this year. Add Mosport and Lime Rock ALMS races, and some dirt track stuff, and RallyCross and a couple other races I'm forgetting and that was my year this year.

I'm still trying to figure out this year, other than Sebring, both IndyCar races at Indy, and VIR. I moved from an hour from IMS to an hour from VIR which kind of changes the playing field. I want to try and get some NASCAR short tracks in while I'm living in the area, and have given thought to going to Pocono for the IndyCar race too.

I live part of the year in a few places, so my racing trips are a bit odd. Also worked with a team last year affecting what I went to. This year I'm not sure yet. Sebring is for sure, possible on the Indy GP, I'm planning on it. Likely Indy 500 then unsure after that. Petit LeMans is almost for sure. Might make it to Barber for a race too.

Petit is within 5 hours from me...if I could find interested people I'd probably try and make it work. I'd love to get to F1 too, but its hard to see if it'll work out for sure or not.

Been talking Montreal, it will be a 13 hour drive from where I will be then. A couple friends and I are considering it. I did Indy every year it was there, haven't been to one since.

Durham is a great town, but you may have picked the only place in the country more humid than Florida.
Went to an outdoor wedding there last July in.... in a silk shirt.........

I went to Indy for the race in 04, 06, and 07. So I missed the 05 tire debacle but was there for practice and quali, and have seen V10s and V8s in person, so I consider that pretty lucky. A buddy has been wanting to do Montreal, so that's always an option.

That shouldn't be a problem. Hopefully I'll have a post from ALMS at Road America before the end of the weekend...I'm a bit behind on my pictures.
